About Heilsugreind
Heilsugreind ehf. was established the year 2017 in affiliation with the research project “Improved Surgery Scheduling" which is funded by the Icelandic Technology Development Fund. The goal of the research project is to design a system that supports administrators and schedulers to find and maintain the best possible surgery schedule available. Special emphasis is on visual representation and interactivity for optimal user experience and operability. The research project is a collaboration between Heilsugreind ehf., the University of Iceland, and the National University Hospital of Iceland.
Icelandic Student Innovation Fund Project
During the summer of 2018, three recently graduated students from the University of Iceland received a grant from the Icelandic Student Innovation Fund to do a project that aimed to help surgery scheduling through a web application. The project is now nominated for the Innovation Award of the President of Iceland.
